The second-in-command of federal cybersecurity at the Office of Management and Budget at the White House has moved on. Joshua Moses, one of the top cyber managers in the federal government, spent the past three years developing and implementing government-wide cybersecurity networks.
Moses left the federal government on Nov. 30, and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as the director cybersecurity strategy and risk.
“Josh’s contributions and service to the federal government’s cybersecurity mission are extremely valued,” Suzette Kent, the federal chief information officer of the United States, said in a statement. “I want to thank him for his hard work and effort in advancing the president’s cybersecurity agenda.”
Moses worked across 125 agencies to support a $15 billion cybersecurity budget and the priorities outlined in Executive Order 13800 on Strengthening the Cybersecurity of Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure.
OMB has not yet filled the position.
