The White House announced President Donald Trump intends to nominate former CIA station chief Daniel Hoffman to the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.
Hoffman has over 30 years of government service, including the CIA, the U.S. military and stints in the Commerce and State departments. Throughout his long career, his assignments have included tours of duty in the former Soviet Union and warzones in the Middle East and South Asia.
Hoffman, who writes about global security threats for the Cipher Brief, is an expert on the Middle East, Russia, counterterrorism, cybersecurity and counterintelligence.
