‘Taliban 2.0’ with Lynne O’Donnell

The most recent episode is the third in a series focused on Afghanistan, where Lynne and her guests talk about the collapse of the republic in August, 2021, and how it has impacted the people of Afghanistan, security in the region, and the safety around the globe.

Episode three, entitled The Taliban’s “State Capture” of Afghanistan, features Natalie Gonnella-Platts, Director of Global Policy at the George W. Bush Institute, which has just released a three-part series of research reports entitled ‘Captured State’.

The reports take an “almost forensic look at Afghanistan and what’s happened to the country, the people, and to women and girls since the Taliban returned to power in 2021.”
