As another Valentine’s Day unfolds, many are rushing out for those last-minute roses, grabbing boxes of chocolates… or sharing Valentine Trumpisms. Card makers and novelty shops took advantage of President Trump’s flamboyant nature to “trump” their competition for your Valentine dollars.
Patriot Depot developed “Trump Hearts” with sayings like “Fake News,” “Great” and “Winner” to accompany Trump Valentine cards with sayings like “I want you on my side of the wall,” and potshots at former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, “I want you to look at me the way Bill looks at Melania.”
Keep and Bear, a purveyor of toys and political novelties, has a special Valentine card from the president that proclaims: “I would never deport you!”
Many Etsy sellers also joined the fun with cards and mugs that further memorialized Trump’s signature exaggeration. Etsy store ThPrntShp offered custom tweet cards from the Donald for husband or wife: “My great friend CUSTOM NAME deserves a whole lot of LOVE this Valentines Day! He’s the Greatest husband, and that’s not FAKE NEWS!” Big Bang Tee offered mugs with “I love you more than Trump loves walls.”
Seems there’s a Trumpism for everyone this Valentine’s Day.
