Sevatec Wins $65 Million Multi-year Contract to Support USCIS

Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec), a leading provider of Agile software, data sciences, cyber engineering, and cloud solutions for the federal government, has announced their award of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Joint Engineering Teams – Sustainment (JETS) prime task order issued under an unrestricted solicitation on the DHS Eagle II contract vehicle. The USCIS awarded Sevatec their Customer Service portfolio with an estimated value of $65 million.

Under the terms of this task order, Sevatec will provide Agile application development and maintenance solutions for customer service systems aimed at improving and prioritizing the immigration user experience. Sevatec’s team of technical resources will be responsible for enhancing the legacy customer service applications through automated code maintenance with continuous integration and advanced code testing, operational maintenance, consolidated user interfaces, and security services.

“We understand the USCIS mission of judiciously and fairly granting immigration and citizenship benefits, promoting an awareness and understanding of citizenship, and strengthening the security and integrity of the immigration system,” said Sonny Kakar, CEO of Sevatec. “We are honored with the USCIS’ level of trust and confidence in Sevatec to help achieve their most core mission objectives of ensuring a highly secure and robust immigration system."

Chris Cole, Sevatec’s Vice President of DHS and National Security, stated, “Sevatec’s experience migrating to Agile methodologies and optimizing current, relevant best practices offers significant advancements and efficiencies to the JETS Customer Service portfolio. We’re very excited to be selected to support the USCIS JETS program – one of the most important missions of our federal government.”

The JETS award is a continuation of Sevatec’s successful history supporting USCIS objectives. Most recently, the firm was awarded a contract to execute an enterprise-wide Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) solution, one of USCIS’ highest priorities. Sevatec is also developing a centralized reporting solution for USCIS that increases operational efficiency for immigration benefits processing through advanced data and business intelligence solutions.
