ISIS Sex Slave Survivor Takes Refuge in Nebraska

Shireen Jardo Alhanto, 33, wakes up every morning with a broken heart but also a glimmer of hope she will find her family again.

“I wake up every morning that I will hear some news they are still alive and I can reunite with them,” Alhanto said.

Alhanto used a Kurdish interpreter to share her story with KETV Newswatch 7’s Michelle Bandur.

“I am doing this to let the world will hear and know about this,” Alhanto said.
