An alleged member of a Southern California-based white nationalist extremist group suspected of traveling to various political rallies in California and in Charlottesville, Virginia, to incite riots was in
custody today following his surrender.
Aaron Eason, 38, of the Riverside County community of Anza, was the last remaining wanted member of the group to remain at large after three other alleged members of the Rise Above Movement were taken into federal custody last week.
Eason surrendered to authorities Sunday, according to the FBI. He made a brief appearance in federal court in downtown Los Angeles Monday, and a detention hearing was scheduled for Friday.
