NYPD Sets up Online Poll to Gauge Public Opinion on Body Camera Program

With the NYPD set to equip 1,000 cops with body cameras, the department has launched an online survey to gauge the reaction of New Yorkers.

The anonymous poll, which is being conducted with New York University, comes amid plans for the NYPD to distribute the cameras this fall in 20 precincts throughout the five boroughs.
