Ontario Man Charged with Terror Offenses

A 22-year-old Ontario man is facing terrorism-related offenses after returning from Turkey.

Ikar Mao of Guelph, Ontario, turned himself in to RCMP officers on Friday morning. He was arrested and charged for participating in activities of a terrorist group and for leaving Canada to participate in such activities.

It appears from a LinkedIn profile that Mao worked in marketing producing video content.
