The US unleashed a barrage of missiles at multiple known ISIS camps in Syria, defense officials announced Saturday.
“The strikes will disrupt the ability of ISIS to plan, organize, and conduct attacks against the United States, its allies and partners, and civilians throughout the region and beyond,” US Central Command announced on X.
Damage assessments are underway after the Friday strikes, which did not appear to leave any civilian casualties, Central Command added. It did not specify where exactly the airstrikes landed.
