Brian Broderick has stepped into a key leadership role at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), announcing via LinkedIn that he is now serving as Acting Chief of the agency’s Verification Division.
Broderick brings a wealth of federal experience to the role, having spent over a decade at the Department of Homeland Security in a variety of leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Director of Illicit Contraband & Finance, where he led cross-agency efforts to disrupt transnational crime networks.
Before that, Broderick held several senior positions within USCIS itself, including Acting Chief of the Identity and Information Management Division and Deputy Chief of the Records Division.
Broderick is also a Marine Corps veteran, where he served as a Signals Intelligence Officer and held leadership roles in acquisitions logistics and ISR operations. His academic background includes an MBA in Acquisition Logistics from the Naval Postgraduate School and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
