6 Firms to Share in Army Software Engineering Support Contract

Six companies have secured positions on a potential five-year, $45 million contract to provide support services to a U.S. Army center established to develop and engineer software for weapons, training and combat support systems.

Contractors will compete for task orders to assist the military service’s Armament Software Engineering Center in various functions such as software development, sustainment, process assurance and infrastructure support, the Defense Department said Friday.

Work is scheduled to occur through July 5, 2023, and the Army Contracting Command will determine funds and performance locations at the time of award.
