Carpathia Partners with Ampcus to Increase Infrastructure Performance While Reducing Complexity and Cost

Carpathia, a cloud operator and leading provider of hybrid cloud services and managed hosting, announced that Ampcus, Inc., a global professional services provider, selected Carpathia to deliver a fully managed hosting solution supported by Carpathia’s highly secure and federally compliant data centers.

Carpathia’s reliable and secure infrastructure has not only increased uptime and service level objectives, but it also resulted in over$5 million in contract savings for Ampcus," said Salil Sankaran, president, Ampcus. "By partnering with Carpathia, we now have the ability to bid on contracts for a variety of different enterprises and government agencies that require adherence to stringent compliance standards."

Ampcus was hired by their customer to deliver a complete outsourced IT solution. As such, Ampcus needed to select a new data center and managed hosting services provider to replace the incumbent. The alternative provider had to be able to support data center infrastructure across multiple geographies and achieve improved latency, uptime, and reliability. In order to address these requirements, Carpathia evaluated the existing environment to determine what deficiencies were present and ultimately proposed an innovative solution, built from the ground up, to accomplish critical SLA metrics.

The Carpathia solution eliminated the need for Ampcus or the end user to manage, support, and worry about their complex IT data center infrastructure. This resulted in decreased operating expenses and more time to focus on critical business tasks.

"We like to align our interests with our customers by taking the time to listen, understand, and design a solution based upon critical business and technical needs," said Philip Hedlund, vice president business operations, Carpathia.  "By trusting complex IT infrastructure management and support to Carpathia, Ampcus has been able to significantly reduce their operating expenses."
