ID Experts Opens DC Office for Federal Sales and Support

ID Experts, the largest provider of identity protection services to the federal government, is opening a new Washington, DC, office to be led by public-sector sales veteran Paul Norton.

“Cyber-attacks on government agencies have evolved rapidly in number, severity and sophistication, with no signs of waning,” said Bob Gregg, CEO of ID Experts. “ID Experts has become the partner of choice for agencies seeking gold-standard protection for their employees and we are addressing that demand by welcoming Paul to the team, as government sales director.

“Paul’s knowledge of the government sector, coupled with extensive experience and insight applying data and analytics to a range of government challenges, including program integrity, breach detection and remediation and improving the customer experience, make him an ideal fit as we continue to build on our success in these areas.”

Data breaches have evolved in nature, size, complexity and risk. “ID Experts has a track record of innovation, an outstanding market reputation and the right contract vehicles in place to grow significantly in this space,” said Norton. “In partnership with government, we are developing innovative solutions to address this trend and I’m excited by all the potential we have.”

For example, in September 2015, the U.S. General Services Administration competitively awarded ID Experts a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Identity Monitoring, Data Breach Response and Protection Services. Today, multiple agencies and millions of individuals are benefiting from the comprehensive identity protection services offered through the BPA.

ID Experts has managed thousands of data breaches, guiding organizations efficiently through the process to mitigate risks, ensure compliance and protect individuals. With tailored identity, credit and medical monitoring services, ID Experts offers maximum protection against personal, financial and medical-identity theft, including fully managed identity recovery for victims of identity theft caused by a breach.

A physical Washington, DC presence will allow ID Experts to work more closely with the government and public sector when it comes to preventive data-breach measures, initial investigation, incident response software, customer protection and resolution services—and everything in between.
