root9B, a root9B Technologies Company, and a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity services and training for commercial and government clients, announced today the opening of a new cutting-edge training, threat intelligence, and operations facility in Maryland.

This new facility, located in the National Business Park near Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, brings root9B’s advanced cyber training, technical capabilities, and unique security services to customers in the Washington, DC region. root9B’s local presence will enhance its ability to train and equip several State and Federal cyber elements, perform advanced research into cyber adversary activity, and serve as a regional operations center to augment its Adversary Pursuit Center (APC), located in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Maryland location marks root9B’s fourth operations facility, with other locations in San Antonio, Texas and Honolulu, Hawaii, in addition to the APC in Colorado Springs.

"This expansion reflects our commitment to bring root9B’s cyber capabilities, training, and services to critical partnerships in the national capital region," said Eric Hipkins, Chief Executive Officer of root9B. "This new operations and training facility enables us to be co-located near the nation’s cyber decision makers, critical operational elements, and significant commercial partners."
