100 Acres Burned by Wildfire in Monongahela National Forest, West Virginia

The Woodside Fire in Pendleton County crossed the dozer-made fireline overnight and has consumed approximately 100 acres, officials said Thursday morning.

The Pendleton County Office of Emergency Management said on social media that the fire is 30% contained as of 9 a.m., and U.S. Forest Service crews are still battling the active fire.
