Earthquake Outbreak: Three More Quakes Shake the Gulf Coast

Three more earthquakes shook the Gulf Coast on Thursday, April 11 bringing the total number of earthquakes in the area this year to eight.

The United States Geological Survey reports a magnitude 2.6 earthquake at 10:41 p.m. Thursday.

That temblor was preceded by a magnitude 2.8 earthquake at 3:11 p.m. and a magnitude 2.5 earthquake at 11:33 a.m.
