Flood Warning Across Five States As Snow Melts

In the aftermath of heavy snowfall across the U.S. Northeast, five states have been issued with flood warnings amid torrential rain and subsequent melting snow.

These “Flood Watches” have been declared for large portions of New Hampshire and Vermont, as well as smaller sections of Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York.

This heavy rainfall and snowmelt could cause flash flooding and may impact travel.
