Hurst Jaws of Life Introduces StrongArm

Hurst Jaws of Life, Inc. has introduced StrongArm, a versatile, multipurpose tool crucial for military and government operations. Replacing a number of single purpose hand tools, StrongArm provides portable hydraulic power to use in a variety of applications and is able to cut, lift and spread.

“StrongArm is a game changer,” said Bruce Johnston, director of marketing and product management for Hurst Jaws of Life, Inc. “Historically, military and government operations have had a variety of tools to use in the field, but StrongArm truly does it all, saving time and energy in the process. It breaks down doors, pries open car doors and cuts through rebar, security bars and locks. This tool will be a remarkable asset to any military or government task force, and we’re excited to be able to offer it to them.”

With a built-in Picatinny accessory rail and a four position handle, StrongArm cuts, lifts and spreads. It replaces crowbars, halligan bars, wire cutters, axes and more. More specifically, it can cut through 3/8” rebar, grade 43 chain, two-by-four wood and is in protection class IP54.

StrongArm is also suited for getting under collapsed roofs and breaching through walls. The compact, portable design makes it easy to carry and allows it to fit into tight spaces, making it lightweight without compromising power or strength. StrongArm is heat, smoke and firefighter tested and is extremely durable.

The tool weighs 21.4 to 25.8lbs., depending on the attachments, and comes with two sets of tips, two Li-ion rechargeable batteries and one charger. StrongArm is available in blue or black.
