GAO Tells DOE to Clean Up its Act Regarding Nuclear Waste

Decades of nuclear energy research at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Idaho National Laboratory produced two forms of high-level radioactive waste: liquid sodium-bearing waste and granular calcine waste.
