Salient CRGT to Provide IT Services to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission

Salient CRGT, Inc., a leading provider of full lifecycle information technology and training services, has announced a task order award from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). Salient CRGT will deliver a Master Data Management (MDM) Solution and Enterprise Data Exchange services that maximize the use of existing technology and minimize manual processes. This two-year award is valued at approximately $1.44 million.

Salient CRGT will build, test, deploy, and implement highly reliable, cost-effective, and secure MDM Solution. Salient CRGT will implement the Solution according to enterprise-wide technology standards using an Agile methodology. Following Agile principles is essential to the success of this fast-paced high priority initiative.

The NRC is responsible for licensing and regulating the Nation’s civilian use of radioactive materials to protect public health and safety, promote the common defense and security, and protect the environment. The three main areas of regulation are: commercial reactors, nuclear materials,and waste transportation and storage. The NRC employs approximately 3,700 people across the United States.

This task order award was through its wholly owned subsidiary, LIST Innovative Solutions’ ID/IQ contract with the NRC.
