The Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate released an infographic to raise awareness of the vast number of projects the component has undertaken to secure the homeland with science and technology.
The infographic describes the results of a number of S&T programs including:
- Screening programs – ScreenADAPT and REDDI
- Combatting cyber attacks through Kryptwire and TTP
- Supporting first responders through free training (EDGE), Wildland Firefighter Gear, saving victims of child sex trafficking (CHEIA)
- Mobilizing innovation by approving SAFETY act applications, $285 to the SBIR program, five crowdsourcing challenges.
