IBM Invests $15 Million in Argentina Innovation Center

IBM today announced that the company has invested 15 million dollars to expand its digital innovation capabilities and boost the adoption and technological transformation of Argentine clients, startups and universities.

The investment includes the opening of a Client Center – Center for Technological Innovation – to help clients face the business challenges in their industries through Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, Blockchain, Security and Internet of Things (IoT).

International Data Corporation estimates that by 2020, 40% of large companies in Latin America will see most of their businesses depend on their ability to create products, services and experiences digitally enhanced with technologies such as Blockchain, IoT and AI. In Argentina, more than 55% of companies have plans to develop applications with IoT and 45% with AI in the coming months.
