Schumer Lists ‘Critical Infrastructure Needs’ at Business Breakfast

Schumer addressed several hundred Orange County Chamber of Commerce members at a membership breakfast in New Windsor, noting once again the importance of Stewart to the business community in the region. 

He advocated for the construction of a rail spur from Salisbury Mills to the airport, saying it would alleviate much traffic once usage of the airport increases over the next few years. He also again called for TSA to increase the number of screeners at the airport, and to bring in newer bag screening technology to streamline the process.
