USPS Reveals New Stamp Honoring First Responders

The United States Postal Service honored first responders in Shasta County on Tuesday, and revealed a new Forever Stamp meant to depict the skill, dedication and bravery first responders display on a daily basis.

The ceremony was held at the Cal Fire station on Homestake Road in Redding, with speeches from USPS representatives and first responders such as Shasta County Undersheriff, Eric Magrini, Cal Fire Chief Shasta-Trinity Unit, Mike Hebrard, and USPS Manager of Human Resources in Sacramento, Susan Donaldson.

On the stamp, you can see a firefighter, emergency medical professional and police officer running side by side toward an unknown danger.
