Coast Guard Academy to Host Annual Lessons and Carols Service

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy will host the annual Lessons and Carols service on Thursday, Dec. 12th at 6:45 p.m. at the Coast Guard Memorial Chapel.

The service is a time-honored tradition that brings cadets, faculty, staff, and the local community together to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season. The event will feature performances from the Cadet Brass Quintet and the Cadet Glee Club. Immediately following the service will be the lighting of the Academy Christmas Tree next to the Chapel.

The service, which is free of charge and open to the public, offers an invitation to residents of New London and surrounding areas to join the Academy community in commemorating this festive tradition. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats and share in the joy of the season.
