U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent in Charge Scott Brown participated in a new, multi-agency public safety video focused on a critical message, “If you see something, Say something.” The public service announcement encourages the public to report suspicious activities to the proper law enforcement agency.
Fifteen local and federal law enforcement agencies around the state collaborated on the video, which is centered around a tragic but realistic scenario that plays out on camera as agency representatives explain the importance of reporting wary behavior.
“I stand proudly next to our partner law enforcement agencies who came together to encourage people to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity,” said SAC Brown. “It only takes a moment to alert the proper authorities (9-1-1). HSI remains committed to assist in protecting our communities.”
“The fact that so many of our Valley law enforcement partners joined together for this project highlights the critical nature of the message,” said Chief Terry Young of the Surprise Police Department. “It doesn’t matter if your community is big or small, urban or rural; everyone should be aware of the significance of reporting suspicious behavior.”
