Aer Lingus Announces Entry to TSA Precheck Programme

Aer Lingus has been approved for participation in the TSA PreCheck programme by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, the airline announced yesterday. Tuesday, September 24.

TSA PreCheck is an expedited security screening experience for US citizens and eligible customers* departing from airports within the US. It uses an intelligence-driven approach to allow low-risk ‘trusted travelers’ to advance through security checks more efficiently.

Aer Lingus said on Monday that the benefits for Aer Lingus customers using TSA PreCheck include faster access to airport gates and the absence of usual requirements to remove shoes, belts, and laptops that are in carry-on bags.
