A Kentucky man was stopped by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Huntington Tri-State Airport with a loaded firearm in his carry-on bag on Thursday, August 8. The 9mm handgun was loaded with six bullets including one in the chamber.
TSA officers halted the screening process and immediately notified the police, who responded to the checkpoint, took possession of the firearm, cited the man, and ultimately permitted him to hand off the firearm to a non-traveling companion.
