OKC Will Rogers International Airport has opened a new federal inspection station, enabling nonstop international flights directly to the city and eliminating the need for travelers to clear customs at major hubs.
“When you travel internationally, you won’t have to come back through a major hub and clear customs and make your connecting flight,” said Jeff Mulder, director of airports at OKC Will Rogers International Airport.
The newly constructed wing, which has been under development for nearly two years, will allow passengers to undergo bag checks and inspections by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
