Royal Thai Army’s high-energy laser weapon targets hostile drones with precision, offering a high-tech shield amid rising border tensions.

The Royal Thai Army has unveiled a high-energy laser weapon designed to counter the increasing threats posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Classified as a directed energy weapon (DEW), the system reportedly emits a powerful energy beam with “pinpoint precision” to neutralize low-flying or fast-moving UAVs, even at night.

By intercepting drone threats mid-air, the weapon helps prevent potentially destructive attacks on Thai soil.
