Homeland Security Today’s Dan Verton Appeared in National Geographic Channel Program

Homeland Security Today’s Director of Editorial Operations and cyber security reporter, Dan Verton, appeared on the Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 National Geographic Channel’s "Top Secrets" series segment, "Doomsday: Cyber Doom." The program examined the next great threat to society could come in the form of a computer virus. The program broadcast at 11:30 PM ET.

Verton discussed the emerging threats of custom, state-sponsored malware and the potential impact of devastating cyberattacks against critical infrastructure.
