Vance Fowler has been named Chief of the Enterprise IT Services Division at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), bringing more than three decades of experience in federal IT leadership and operations.
Fowler joins the role following more than five years at NASA, where he most recently served as Deputy Director for Application and Platform Services. He also previously served as Deputy Associate CIO for NASA’s Applications Division.
This marks a return to FLETC for Fowler, where he previously spent nine years in leadership and technical roles. During that time, he served as Division Chief for IT Operations and Support and earlier as an IT Project Manager, contributing to infrastructure, systems support, and operational delivery across the training enterprise.
Earlier in his career, Fowler held roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as an IT Specialist focused on systems analysis, as well as positions at USDA and in the private sector, including senior technical and management roles at ICF, SITA, and AT&T.
