Where the Border Security Community Connects: Inside the Conversations Shaping the Mission

The most valuable conversations at Border Security Expo don’t end when sessions conclude—they begin.

Across the show floor, between briefings, and during dedicated gathering moments, leaders from across the homeland security enterprise engage directly on the issues shaping border security today. These interactions bring together federal decision-makers, operational leaders, and industry partners in an environment designed for dialogue, coordination, and collaboration.

From Briefings to Real-Time Engagement

The week begins with the Welcome Reception, where attendees connect ahead of the formal program in a setting that brings together government leaders, mission partners, and peers.

As the program unfolds, these interactions extend beyond scheduled sessions—creating opportunities for continued dialogue across agencies and sectors.

A Shared Moment on the Show Floor

A central gathering point will be the National Border Security Awards, taking place on the SITREP Stage directly on the expo floor. The program brings together leaders from across the community to recognize innovation, leadership, and impact across the mission.

Immediately following the awards, the Expo Floor Happy Hour (4:30–5:30pm) continues the conversation—creating an environment where attendees engage directly with speakers, partners, and peers in a more informal setting.

The SITREP Stage: Conversation in Motion

Throughout the event, the SITREP Stage serves as a hub for live discussion on the show floor—bringing together leadership conversations, interviews, and real-time exchanges in a high-traffic, accessible setting.

This format allows attendees to engage with content as it unfolds, bridging the gap between formal programming and on-the-ground interaction.

Where the Mission Connects

Border Security Expo brings together a cross-section of the homeland security enterprise—creating an environment where federal, state, and industry stakeholders engage directly on the priorities shaping the mission.

These moments—between sessions, on the show floor, and during shared events—are where collaboration takes shape and future initiatives begin.

Border Security Expo 2026 takes place May 5–6 in Phoenix, with a Welcome Reception on May 4.

Government, law enforcement, and active-duty military attend complimentary.
