Doug Fears has joined McChrystal Group as a Senior Advisor, bringing decades of experience in national security, homeland security, and resilience leadership.
Fears currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Artis Magi, a science and technology company. Previously, Fears served as Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Advisor to the President and as Acting Deputy National Security Advisor, where he supported national security policy development and decision-making on a range of complex challenges.
Earlier in his career, Fears served on the National Security Council staff and spent 40 years with the U.S. Coast Guard, retiring as a Rear Admiral.
His experience includes leadership roles across government, national security operations, and emergency management, providing expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and organizational resilience.
