Jeremy Baker currently serves as Vice President, Customer Engagement at LinTech Global, a mission-driven technology solutions provider supporting federal government clients. In this role, he leads strategic partnerships and customer success efforts, applying more than two decades of leadership in intelligence, national security, and operational coordination to deliver impactful, user-focused technology solutions across critical domains.
Prior to his current role Jeremy was the Acting Counterterrorism Coordinator at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As DHS’s senior counterterrorism official, he reported directly to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, overseeing Department-wide coordination of counterterrorism activities—including intelligence, operations, information sharing, and policy integration. He also represented DHS interests within the interagency community and external stakeholders.
Jeremy has more than 25 years of experience in intelligence, law enforcement, counterterrorism, and national security. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Director for Intelligence at the second-largest federal investigative agency in the United States. He has also held senior roles in the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis, including as Associate Deputy Under Secretary. He served on the Board of Directors for the National Counterterrorism, Innovation, Technology, and Education Center (NCITE), a DHS Center of Excellence advancing research and education in homeland security.
Jeremy began his public service in 2000 as a U.S. Army counterintelligence agent and human intelligence (HUMINT) collector, serving in diverse global assignments. He is a graduate of the Joint Special Operations University Executive Course and the American University Key Executive Leadership Program.
He resides in Maryland with his wife, daughter, dog, and a rotating cast of foster kittens. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, is a certified beer judge, and writes novels about crime and national security.
