Ntina K. Cooper has joined the U.S. Travel Association as Senior Vice President of Operations.
“Ntina knows how to drive results in complex environments,” said Geoff Freeman, President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association. “She has led at scale inside one of the federal government’s most demanding agencies, and she brings the discipline and leadership we need to align our operations with where this organization is headed.”
Cooper, a Homeland Security Today Trailblazer, brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across operations, strategy and enterprise transformation.
In her new role, Cooper will serve as a member of the organization’s leadership team and oversee Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Legal—ensuring the association’s core functions are aligned, integrated and built to support long-term growth.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of an organization focused on strengthening the travel industry and to support its next phase of growth,” said Cooper. “I’m looking forward to working alongside a strong team and helping drive what comes next for U.S. Travel.”
Cooper most recently served as Executive Assistant Commissioner for Enterprise Services at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), where she led a nationwide organization of more than 4,000 employees delivering mission-critical services across procurement, human capital, information technology and facilities. She has held senior leadership roles across CBP and the Department of Homeland Security. Cooper holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from DePaul University.
