The Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT) has announced the return of its Annual Anti-Human Trafficking Symposium, scheduled for Aug. 18–19, 2026.
The two-day event will focus on collaboration, operational coordination, and prevention efforts under the theme, “Action is the solution.”
Registration details are expected to be released in the coming months.
Led by ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the CCHT serves as DHS’s central hub for counter-human trafficking efforts, supporting investigations and victim-centered operations both domestically and internationally.
According to DHS, the center’s mission is to advance law enforcement operations, protect victims, and strengthen prevention efforts by aligning the department’s expertise and capabilities across four primary areas: identification and screening, enforcement and investigations, victim protection and assistance, and training and outreach.
The CCHT also provides intelligence support, funding, and subject matter expertise to HSI human trafficking investigations worldwide as part of DHS’s broader counter-trafficking strategy.
