September 15, 2017, Woodbridge VA —Sev1Tech, Inc., a leader in providing IT, engineering, and program management services to government and commercial clients, announced today that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Program Accountability and Risk Management (PARM) has once again chosen Sev1Tech as their preferred contractor for providing technical, professional, and administrative support services. Sev1Tech has been the standing incumbent on this program since 2013.
The office of PARM operates to ensure coordination between the acquisition community and DHS executive level agents. The PARM organizational structure is tailored to meet mission goals and objectives and respond to emerging needs. PARM is the primary acquisition oversight agent for DHS and the DHS interface with other government organizations for any acquisition-related issue, concern or request for information. PARM maintains, updates, and leverages an ever-evolving knowledge asset management and decision information support strategy. Moreover, PARM maintains, enhances, and modernizes its integrated systems environment to build and optimize on the capabilities needed across its business operations, leadership and partners to help ensure the Department effectively and efficiently manages the Department’s acquisition programs to obtain the critical capabilities to realize homeland security mission success.
Sev1Tech has been chosen to provide administrative, professional, and technical services that enable PARM to lead and optimize the DHS acquisition enterprise. This includes cross-integration and collaboration across PARM, DHS partners, and it’s component agencies/programs to facilitate collection and dissemination of acquisition-related guidance’s, capabilities, information, identification, definition, communication, development, and delivery of improvement to PARM business processes. The span of support achieves measures of productivity, quality, efficiency and innovation in delivering acquisition support services and products to enable DHS to meet its mission.
