Brian Funk Appointed Chief Technology Officer at MetaPhase Consulting

Brian Funk announced on LinkedIn that he has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at MetaPhase Consulting. In this capacity, Funk will lead the company’s technology strategy, focusing on integrating innovative technologies to advance MetaPhase’s Federal IT solutions and strengthen client success.

Funk brings over two decades of experience in technology management, software engineering, and cloud architecture to his new position. Before joining MetaPhase, he held notable leadership roles, including Partner for Hybrid Cloud Transformation at IBM Consulting and Vice President of Technology Solutions at Octo. He has also been an early leader in Federal technical demonstrations and hackathon-style procurements, collaborating with 18F and the Department of Homeland Security’s Procurement Innovation Lab (DHS PIL) to secure significant contracts at agencies such as GSA, Treasury, and USCIS.

As a self-described “full-stack technologist,” Funk is passionate about solving complex challenges using cutting-edge technologies like cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and digital transformation. His expertise and enthusiasm align with MetaPhase Consulting’s mission to deliver efficient, scalable, and innovative IT solutions for Federal clients.

Funk’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University. He holds certifications as an AWS Solutions Architect, Salesforce Heroku Architect, SAFe® Agilist, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
