Tudor Alexandrescu, former Chief of Technology Integration and Innovation at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), has joined Tria Federal as Vice President of National Security, where he will lead the company’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of State (DOS) portfolios.
In his new role, Alexandrescu is responsible for overseeing program delivery and supporting growth across Tria’s national security work, with a focus on strengthening partnerships and advancing digital modernization and data capabilities for federal customers.
Alexandrescu brings more than 17 years of experience across federal service, government contracting, and the private sector. At TSA, he led technology integration efforts aligned with mission priorities, managing large-scale modernization initiatives spanning applications, infrastructure, and security. He also advised senior DHS leadership on implementing mission-focused initiatives and executive orders, translating policy direction into operational technology strategies.
Prior to his federal service, Alexandrescu held leadership roles in the consulting sector, including Executive Director of Client Solutions at Analytica and Senior Program Manager at Capgemini. In those roles, he led enterprise data, cloud, and digital transformation efforts for DHS components and other federal agencies, building technical teams and delivering programs focused on modernization and performance.
Earlier in his career, Alexandrescu worked in professional services and portfolio management roles supporting commercial clients, including financial institutions and Fortune 100 companies, providing experience in SaaS, analytics, and large-scale program delivery.
In a post announcing his new role, Alexandrescu was quoted as saying, “Tria’s blend of deep mission expertise, digital modernization, and advanced data analytics gives DHS and DOS a partner that is uniquely positioned at the intersection of mission, technology, and innovation. I’m excited to help DHS and DOS leverage that strength to meet the threats of today and anticipate the challenges of tomorrow.”
