Joanna Davenport has been named vice president of growth for Intelligence Solutions at BAE Systems, where she will oversee a team of business development experts supporting missions across the Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security, FBI, NASA, and NOAA. She announced the move on LinkedIn.
Davenport brings more than two decades of experience leading strategy, business development, and growth efforts across the defense, intelligence, and federal civilian markets. Most recently, she served as chief growth officer at Cydecor, Inc., where she directed software development, IT, and mission services growth for the Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and intelligence customers.
Her career includes more than five years at Leidos, where she held multiple vice president roles. She led business development and strategy for the company’s civilian health business, managing a nearly $900 million annual portfolio, and earlier shaped strategy and market engagement for Leidos’ intelligence group. Before that, she spent more than four years with General Dynamics Information Technology as senior director of business development with responsibility for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) account.
Earlier roles include vice president positions at SAIC, where she managed accounts with NGA, DIA, and DHS, and leadership posts at McClendon and Northrop Grumman focused on space and geospatial growth. Davenport began her career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
