Polly Hall has assumed the role of Acting Director of the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI), according to an update to her LinkedIn profile.
While the appointment has not yet been formally announced by the General Services Administration (GSA), Hall’s new position places her at the helm of the organization responsible for developing and supporting the federal acquisition workforce through governmentwide training, certification, and professional development.
Hall is widely recognized across the acquisition community for her leadership in procurement modernization and workforce development. Most recently, she has played a key role in advancing federal acquisition policy and innovation efforts within GSA.
HSToday recognized Hall last year as one of the 2025 Trailblazers in Homeland Security, honoring leaders making significant contributions to government mission delivery and the homeland security enterprise.
Homeland Security Today congratulates Hall on her new role and wishes her continued success as she leads the Federal Acquisition Institute during this transition!
