Pro-Iran Group Threatens Bank of America Branch in France With Final Warning to Leave

According to a new report from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a pro-Iran group has released a video threatening the Bank of America in France, claiming that it serves “Zionist and Israeli interests.”

Earlier, on March 9, the group had published an announcement, in English and Arabic, that it was launching military operations against American and Israeli interests worldwide. Both the video and the announcement were shared by Telegram channels affiliated with the Iran-backed militias in Iraq.

The group has since claimed responsibility for several attacks targeting Jewish and U.S. interests in Greece, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Below is the full report on the Bank of America threat, as published by the MEMRI Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM):

A new pro-Iran group, “Harakat Ashab Al-Yamin Al-Islamiyah” (Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right), has released a 32-second video threatening the Bank of America in France. The video was disseminated on March 21, 2026 by a Telegram channel affiliated with Iran-backed militias in Iraq.

The video begins with a brief explanation of the target in French, Arabic, English and Hebrew; however, the target in the Hebrew version is not the Bank of America in France but NIG North Holland Northwest in Heemstede, a religious community that belongs to the Dutch-Israelite Church.

Accusing the bank of serving “Zionist and Israeli interests,” the video claims that it “sends large investments to Israel,” supports the Jewish community in France, and strengthens Israel-France ties. It further alleges that the “Bank of America in France is not just a bank but a ‘shadowy Zionist force'” aiming to create “a financial and cultural empire” in service of Israel.

The video shows the bank’s location on Google Maps along with a photo of its facade, identifying it in English as “the targeted location.”

The channel also wrote in the post in Arabic: “Leave before it’s too late. This is a final warning. Leave the bank immediately.”

It should be noted that the video was not posted on the “Harakat Ashab Al-Yamin Al-Islamiyah” Telegram channel.
