Victims of Illicit Drugs (V.O.I.D.) has announced a new partnership with Leadership Initiatives aimed at expanding fentanyl education efforts on college campuses nationwide.
Under the partnership, Leadership Initiatives will help distribute V.O.I.D.’s fentanyl awareness and prevention education across Greek life fraternity and sorority chapters, with three Education Coordinators serving as Greek life liaisons to support outreach and campus engagement.
The collaboration was confirmed in a public post by V.O.I.D. President Jaime Ignacio Puerta Gonzalez, who said the partnership formalizes years of joint work and is designed to broaden awareness of the dangers posed by illicit fentanyl while encouraging students to make informed, life-saving decisions.
V.O.I.D. is a public safety-focused organization that raises awareness about the risks of illicit fentanyl and provides educational tools for students, parents, educators, law enforcement, and government partners.
Leadership Initiatives, a nonprofit known for experiential education programs, has worked for more than two decades with high school students to provide internships and career exploration opportunities, helping students build professional skills and gain real-world experience.
