A revamped House Committee on Homeland Security website that enhances the delivery of information and providing viewers with up-to-date content in a digestible format incorporates an innovative, interactive “Terror Threat Map” which enables the viewer to visually track the locations of attacks and thwarted plots to the homeland from ISIS and other Islamist terror groups.
Users can also conveniently access committee events, investigations, legislation, news releases, and other homeland security-related information with just a few quick clicks.
With the committee’s new website also comes a new logo which depicts the vital work directed by committee members in their effort to shield the homeland. The logo’s patriotic flair symbolizes the Committee’s top priority—keeping America safe. The shield has six stars representing the six subcommittees and the eagle serves as a symbol of American strength and resiliency.
