Knight Point Systems has won a $902 million contract to continue providing communication infrastructure services for the Defense Information Systems Agency.
The potential 10-year Communications Capacity Services II recompete contract includes the provision of routers, switches, appliances, monitoring equipment, monitoring and reporting software and other supporting devices for use by the Department of Defense and DOD partners.
Knight Point has provided communication infrastructure support to DISA since a previous award in 2011. The CCS II contract was awarded 18 months after the initial request for proposals notice was issued, and work will take place mainly at 12 U.S. locations. The contract will run for five years through 2023, with five one-year options.
