Jim Steiner teaches courses in intelligence and homeland security at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany. From 2006 until 2009 he was Intelligence Advisor to the Director of New York State’s Office of Homeland Security and a consultant to the Chief Intelligence Officer in the Department of Homeland Security. He also was a senior member of the working group that wrote New York’s new Homeland Security Strategy. At the national level, as a senior advisor to the Undersecretary for Intelligence at DHS, he was a strong proponent for intelligence support to State and local governments, especially through massive expansion of classified communications and intelligence dissemination to fusion centers throughout the country. Drew Schnabel is vice president of federal at Zscaler, and focuses on ensuring agencies can provide secure access for users regardless of device, location, or network. His previous positions include directing DoD sales at Riverbed Technology and managing the U.S. Army, SOCOM and CENTCOM accounts at NetApp. Drew is a committed leader working to ensure civilian and Defense Department agencies can take advantage of modern cloud technology, securely, to empower their teams, meet their missions and deliver exceptional citizen service.

Jonathan Reiber is the senior director for cybersecurity strategy and policy for AttackIQ where he focuses on thought leadership, strategic communications, and content development. During Barack Obama’s administration, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for Cyber Policy in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense. His writing has appeared and been highlighted by Foreign Policy, The Atlantic Monthly, DefenseOne, The Christian Science Monitor, The San Jose Mercury News, and Literary Hub among others. He is the author of two book-length Berkeley monographs, A Public, Private War, and Asian Cybersecurity Futures, and was the principal author of The Department of Defense Cyber Strategy (2015) and the classified defense cyber strategy of 2010. He has held research and writing fellowships with UC Berkeley’s Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, the Smith Richardson Foundation, and the Thomas J. Watson Foundation. Prior to serving as CSO for Cyber Policy, Jonathan served as Special Assistant and Speechwriter to the United States’ Deputy Secretary of Defense, Dr. Ashton B. Carter, and previously as Special Assistant to the United States’ Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, Dr. James N. Miller. Christopher M. Bosse possess over seven years of experience in acquisitions, project management, and engineering in support of the U.S. Department of Defense and over ten years of experience in healthcare administration. Mr. Bosse holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University, a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems from Charleston Southern University, and a Master of Science in Technology Intelligence from the National Intelligence University.
