Officers stopped a plot in which a man said he was “going to burn down the building with all the f—— Jews,” Miami Beach Police said Friday.
In a Facebook post, police said the man was charged with attempted murder and attempted arson “after he dumped several gasoline filled containers down a trash chute in his Miami Beach high rise.”
“His motivation appears to be triggered by a pending eviction and anger towards Jewish neighbors,” police said. “Detectives also discovered 28 additional gas containers, sulfur powder, and potassium nitrate in a storage room linked to the defendant.”

Walter Edward Stolper, 72, allegedly told a witness that he purchased two electrical fans “to fan the flames and cause maximum amount of damage.” Police said they found the fans in his apartment along with swastika paraphernalia and Nazi books.
