Immigration and Customs Enforcement is pushing back on claims that an employee posed as a homeless woman and tried to get information about a family staying at a shelter on church property in Redmond, Wash. A tweet briefly describing the incident was shared thousands of times since Saturday morning. A Facebook post Sunday morning outlined more detailed claims.
The Facebook post said an unidentified woman visited a family shelter at Redmond United Methodist Friday night, saying she needed a place to stay. It goes on to allege the woman asked social workers several questions about operations and approached guests before she was asked to leave.
